About Us

A legacy of excellence

With nearly three decades of experience, we have honed our skills to become your one-stop shop for all your machining needs in Central Ohio and beyond!

Columbus Machine Work's journey began in the mid 1990's with Mike Stacey, accepting an on-the-spot job offer for job-shop machinist, riding his bike to work every day to make parts and do repairs for hundreds of local customers.

Mike was always intrigued by the way things worked and how they were made. With an inquiring mind for metal-working that developed into a deep-rooted love for machinery and manufacturing, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and a wealth of hands-on experience, Mike's entrepreneurial vision and drive to solve problems has resulted in Columbus Machine, now a Central Ohio hub for manufacturing, metal work and craftsmanship.
